Yale Keyfree Repair Plates to Mechanical Handle
The Problem
Yale’s Keyfree is an electronic handleset designed to fit UPVC and composite doors. It’s out of production now and so replacements aren’t available. We have seen several units with broken spindles that can’t be repaired as the unit is redundant. The big problem is that the handles have holes that just can’t be hidden by any replacement handles – as you can see from the picture.
If you have a broken Yale Keyfree what can you do?
The Solution
Holdfast’s simple Yale Keyfree Repair Plates are designed to hide the holes left by the removal of the old handles. It will allow you to simply fit a pair of Yale adjustable fixing handles for a quick solution.
The plates are sold in pairs and supplied in a range of finishes, including: White, Polished Stainless Steel, Brass electro plated, and Satin Stainless Steel. You can also specify powder coat to any RAL colour or even supply a wood grain effect.
Simply remove the broken Yale Keyfree, fit the plates behind the new handles, and you have a quick and easy retrofit solution
Extras
